Camp Ripley Training Center (CRTC), located near Little Falls, is a 53,000-acre regional training center hosting numerous ranges and state-of-the-art facilities to support training requirements for military and civilian agencies. CRTC provides resources enabling customers to train in a realistic environment while sustaining lodging and conference space for customer events, programs, and education.
Camp Ripley is committed to success in the fields of natural and cultural resource management, highlighted by the construction of the 10 megawatt solar field in conjunction with Minnesota Power efforts aimed at making CRTC a Net Zero installation.
Camp Ripley’s focus is to update equipment to efficiently operate their facility. This year’s update was to install new electrical substation equipment that has reached its end of life proficiency. The electrical scope of our work was the installation of two new 35kv substations and miscellaneous 15kv distribution equipment.
