THE POWER TO
At EIM SAFETY is not just a word to us. It’s our EXPECTATION. Engrained from new employees to Senior Leadership safety is ALWAYS FIRST. We take great pride in protecting the environment, our employees, subcontractors and the public. Thus, we have created a safety culture that is unparalleled in the construction business. From our Health, Safety and Environmental manual to our dedicated HSE Manager and staff, EIM is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone.
Our team abides by and are well versed in nationally recognized safety standards and guidelines, the International Building Code (IBC), National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code (ANSI C2), International Fire Code (IFC) and National Fire Protection Association Codes.
In early 2018 EIM invested thousands of dollars to provide iPads to each one of its supervisors in the field. Allowing them to have a safety management system at their fingertips. All safety forms and checklists are now performed in real time where the HSE department and its manager can assess immediately any metrics, needs or issues as they arise. Saving valuable time for the client and keeping our employees safe.
Our Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Program Manual is designed to guide employees and management in adhering to safe standards and practices in the workplace, with the ultimate objective of preventing incidents.
EIM employees are trained and adhere to the safety codes and guidance set forth in our HSE programs. Our Behavior Based Safety program, Stop Work program, and Short-Service employee policies provide for effective and immediate feedback, support, and accountability for those in the field.
Our companies also have experience in developing and implementing Risk Management Plans and Crisis Communications Plans. With information on preventative measures and detailed instructions outlining steps in an unfavorable event, our clients have peace of mind knowing things are handled properly.
